The imposing castle that dominates the skyline is well-known in the surrounding area for its tall, round tower which make visible for away the town of Castiglione Falletto near Barolo, La Morra, Serralunga, Grinzane and other local villages which have for centuries competed to produce the best from what nature has to offer.
It is on these slopes, among the most fertile in the Langhe, where the rows and rows of vineyards represent the combination of nature with the hard toil of man, and where he countryside seems to burst into life when the swollen bunches of ripe grapes are ready for picking in the late summer.
